IT'S ALL ABOUT TIME.
What is time? why has time proven to be a big and a greater threat to human progress and prosperity over years? looking it from a grammatical view of explanation, time is the duration needed to carry out an activity. Growing up in any African family, because am one, any issue particularly concerning time was non-negotiable. Activities were to be carried out in the proper time and no procrastination was ever entertained. This gave us an opportunity to pre-plan everything in our brains and carry them out with collisions.
Time has been the gap of civilization and barbarism, modernization and ancient times, if we look back across a distance, any country that managed its time well and ran for greater resources countries during colonization, it ended up benefiting well, the persons who too went ahead and managed their time better and succeeded in business were called capitalists.
Steve Jobs a man I have admired for his great revolution and a future he implemented after he saw how technology would change the lives of human beings, talk about time being a great asset,a great resource and a gift that we were given and if correctly defined and planned we would be achieving what we want
It does not matter who you are today but what will matter at the final end of your time is how well you utilized your time and moved ahead of the pack, moved ahead of your competitors and you stood out as the best of you that you could possibly ever be.I understand we all know a brief history of Jobs and how he lost his company and went back to his drawing board and later went back to apple and ruled it. we might lose our properties, lose our families, lose the things we love, but what quality and quantity of time do you ever have so as to win them back, a time to heal and get past the boundaries that may come up in your life? W e should never compare ourselves with the pace of the other travelers in this life but compare yourself with the inner man denying you the chance of reaching your destination in your due time
life is not a race like the Olympics
,
no , its a race of winning the lazy us in each and everyone of us, just like Bill Gates says it:he finds it easier to give work to a lazy person because he will always find a shortcut of doing the work to completion,
don't fear being called lazy or any other names because of your speed, just remind them that in due time, they can come and make their conclusions. Life has a set down rules by philosophers and old wise men who thought that doing things earlier was always the best and yes, I don't disagree because they were right , but in addition we are all created differently ,with different attitudes and characters, different levels of understanding and different speeds of doing our jobs. Remember always that a good planner and a person who gives his or her best ends up being a satisfied winner
because
"comparing yourself with others is the greatest insult you get"

WHAT'S HAPPENING?
WE ARE LOSING
IT AS KENYANS.
They say if it doesn’t kill you it will make you stronger,
but has this ever happened in Kenya?
Something is killing us each day but we choose to be tied
down and we choose to say down there at all times like it’s our comfort zone
and no one seems to care about it. All times let truth be told, how can a
prefect be caned for not managing a class well and a bigger captain is left to
walk scott free when there’s a disorder in his department? This is not the land
our forefather’s fought for, it was a land that was freed from black
colonization where we all would be the custodians of our resources and homeland,
we are seeing too much in our streets, in our television sets, listening from
our radios, how our fellow Kenyan’s and also you and me are suffering in our
country and this does not form any logic and basis of any solution anytime soon.
I am a writer, voicing and fighting hard for what is not supposed to be
happening but what are you doing? Stand up for what is right and don’t attend
tribal rallies and chase away anyone who is tearing Kenya apart.
Mandela a great leader in reasoning, promising and acting
leader who hoped for a united Africa, urged African’s to reason well and invest
in education because in so doing that was going to be our saving grace. Now,
what do you see being the future of Africa when a government dismisses bill
meant to offer loans for students to study, teachers’ strike goes on unnoticed
and no one seems to care, multiple cheating in exams? Much happening must keep
us going and making us think of what kind of a tomorrow we shall be living in.
We can’t look forward to borrowing more than we can
actually pay back, it’s better we develop ourselves with the little resources
we have, the great 8 countries that have
been loaning African countries how did they reach all those levels? These are
the questions we should ask ourselves and work hard than borrow hard.
It has reached a time we have to say no to everything,
from election to the day to day activities, use your voters card responsibly
and your brain responsible. And to our politicians
It does not matter how you live today but how will
your offspring live tomorrow, you made your wealth the wrong way and when they
take over they are surrounded by hungry men devouring your property, how will
you have helped them? You also vote for irresponsible and tribal political
leaders, they will make you miserably poor and cursing them afterwards won’t
solve your problems, so make a Kenya worthy to be called a fought hard for; KENYA.
I respect this man for what he did as an MP.

WHAT DOES AFRICA LACK?
WHAT DOES AFRICA LACK?
Every time you walk in any Africa country, you can't miss the action of protest or riots, whether it's the university students, workers, religious groups or even politicians asking for something or campaigning against.
what's education to Africans? I wonder, living in Kenya and witnessing cases of learned people being recruited to join militias in search for easy money under the excuse of unemployment,it worries a lot and the basic question is what skills and morals are being fused with the learning in all institutions.
Education has been the root of great achievers, great successful people and Oprah Winfrey one of the most successful African Americans in the world trusted a lot in education:to her education was a refuge from her problems and later on it became her strength to mingle with the most powerful and influential people on earth, she owns her own television network worth millions of dollars.Education gives us a basic thinking room, where we don't see ourselves depending on our parents success but formulating the blueprints that we shall build our landmarks and position them on the world map.
We can make a good world but only if we realise that education is supposed to make us think and open our minds to see new things, new ways of tackling our problems in Africa.
I don't mean to diminish anyone's respect but can our uneducated leaders go back to school and learn. We must accept that most of our leaders are incapable of leading but they are good in politics and that is unquestionable, but for the whole of Africa to make stride like South Africa, our leaders in no doubt need education:to make our living in Africa worthy.

Plato a man I admire for his vast resource of knowledge once quoted:
"By education I mean that training in excellence from youth upward which makes a man passionately desire to be a perfect citizen, and teaches him to rule, and to obey, with justice. This is the only education which deserves a name"
So the next time one is quoted as educated and is doing evil, he still remains uneducated;a fool. The minute we as Africans realise that education is the first minute we need to heal that's when we shall make progress and avoid being dictated by other countries and instead make a living on our own.
What does Victor Hugo take on education?
and not only a prison but also slavery and any other bondage. That's the power of education that which poor Africans will follow and make their children understand, but there's a group betraying us calling themselves "rich". Talents to their children means more, than staying in class and get enlightened. This is a great reason as to why most of African actors, actresses, musicians, and other celebrities after retirement bury themselves in a life of misery and poverty because education gives a person an open mind on financial and property freedom as Mr Carter said.
George Washington Carter an African America said:
The late Nelson Mandela knew this much more than anyone, he understood that, for South Africa to progress he had to put terms into writing with the British who are learned and more skilled. For him to reach an agreement with them he had to study and be on a similar platform with them.South Africa is a country that achieved it's independence among the last nations in Africa but it has made a great stride in economic and infrastructural developments and stands as the most developed state in African even more than countries that were never colonized.Education has been the root of great achievers, great successful people and Oprah Winfrey one of the most successful African Americans in the world trusted a lot in education:to her education was a refuge from her problems and later on it became her strength to mingle with the most powerful and influential people on earth, she owns her own television network worth millions of dollars.Education gives us a basic thinking room, where we don't see ourselves depending on our parents success but formulating the blueprints that we shall build our landmarks and position them on the world map.
